  1. Is it possible to remove a requirement of a parent template? I want to create a champion unit that does not have the requirement of "phase_city".

  3. It comes down to how you interpret " "Gendered Civilians" is a very bad change. " Gendered Civilians is bad, period or Implementing Gendered Civilians in an unfinished state (no dedicated male voice for civilians) is bad I was thinking of making a mod that completely reverts the gendered civilians change, but I found that playing with this mod gives enough sensual feedback regarding which unit I have selected that I don't feel the need anymore.
  4. Yes, which is why two of the most popular mods for clarity, small trees mod and idle villager pointer, is now in-build in the game itself, and why the most popular mods either remove clutter or improve the UI.
  5. From a gameplay perspective it's useless clutter that reduces clarity. Like decorative "trees" around your CC that you can't harvest.

  7. I have found the public.zip file, and and looking through the folders for the values of the units but I can't find them. I want to start by editing the Maiden Guards from Mauryas. edit: Oh, found it. public/simulation/templates/units/maur/ The file was not color coded so I thought most of is commented out.
  8. Hm, hm, now it works. Does the folder name have to be identical to either "name": "ModernGUI", "label": "ModernGUI", in "mod.json"?
  9. To make it more consistent among Civs, all Cavalry that can hunt have a special melee attack against defenseless animals German civilians have a damage multiplier against animals (including hostile ones) or Civilians have a damage multiplier against defenseless animals
  10. This mod does not appear in the in-game mod menu. https://wildfiregames.com/forum/topic/140750-civilians-with-female-voices/ appears in the mod menu. I have installed / copied it to /home/tre/.local/share/0ad/mods/ModernGUI-master mod.json is directly in the folder. What did I wrong? This gives this error: error code 404 error_ref 14000 message "The requested resource could not be found."
  11. What I would like is an option in the Settings to change Gendered Civilians back to Women. Having female Civilians and male Citizen gives a more clearer feedback which units are civilians and which are citizens.
