In other games I play, it always means damage reduction. Anyways, some units has multiple types of attack pts. Do they deal multiple type of damages in one hit?
-
Hey. I wasn't aware about this before. No, I did actually underestimate this unit because it's available from P1 CC. I thought it's similar to Light Cavalry in AoE, however the fact that it's the only sword welding unit in this civ. Dozen of them and they can hit rams effectively. Good for scouting too.

Oh no. Han mentioned twice. I like Han btw. Their CS and P2 barrack units share same price, and its cheap. The P2 ones are simply better. And I like their 60 metres ranged horsemen. Fast and can outrange most units. Still, they're cheap. In other hand, I don't like civ which lacks of siege machine. Just ram, and no cat,no siege ship too. I like to use siege ship for scraping coastline. Of course because I never play with someone else, and the AI is not great for water fight.

Will you tell me the most difficult civ to use for your playing style and the reason?

Okay. So this is still an issue. And, thank for your effort.

A stupid question. Can I merge a replay? As I'm a newbie, I often save make save to capture a progress during a game. I have less sense to guess when will enemy attack me, how intense, and from which direction. So it's always late for me to being prepared. Whenever I lost, I quit the game and play the last saved, if it's possible to make a better preparation. The problem is, when I play the replay of my last section of the game, the replay starts from the 00:00:00, and shows that I was doing nothing there until I loss. Instead of showing my cheatfull victory, it makes its own story accordingly.

Why don't wait until 27.1 ported to flatpak? Flatpak is recommended by developer if you're using Debian (me LMDE). They should've maintained this repo.

Yeah, but 10 is too much for only harass attack. Healer is for a checkpoint whenever one or more my cavs dying from ranged attack (which is rare in early game). However, it's new to me to using healers while capturing CC. Idk why is it so hard to capture a CC, even with bunch of elite units and hero.
-
Anyway, how do you think about adding this mode? While AI is just booming and turtling? Surround their CC with walls (like Iberian), put many soldiers on it, many mainland units guarding, no scary rams, no attack launched. Sounds lame and not challenging, but at some degree, enjoyable .
-
Mostly, yes. But I'm doing better now. I boom to p2, upgrading pierce attack and cav speed, using 10 archer cav to hit and run on enemy border, while a healer metres behind. In this chase, I think it's good that the AI is defensive, because they way easier to get frustrated when chasing my cav. They just walk in and off, while my cav got their heads.

What is the difference of aggressive and defensive AI? I mean, I always set it to defensive, and expecting them to build a solid, impenetrable defense that would require a large number of troops and multiple attempts to defeat (I thought it would be fun). But instead, they would launch a massive attack and destroy me first, even if I am doing nothing.
-
As the title said, which upgrade do you prefer to make first?
-
Wait, so it is a mod?
-
How to quickly call all soldiers for a battle when under attack, and then reassign them when the defense is successful? As far as I see, bot can do this easily when I always lose because my soldiers are always parted.
-
I meant for defensive building like Forts and Towers. My only purpose is to increase their fire. When the building almost destroyed, the units inside it will come out. So, I think melee soldiers can buy more time than squishy rangers. I know turtling is a lame strategy. However, I'm still opened for more tips and tricks.
-
Thanks for the reply. Since all garissoned soldiers add same fire power, now I think it's better to place melee units inside a building since they are greater in HP.

Hello, newb here . Han is my favorite faction recently. I'm usually start the game with turtling and slow development, but AI always break my defense within 20 minutes. Especially when they started to using rams. What units can destroy rams quickly? Also, I still wondering about garrison and fire power. Does ranged units like archers and crosbowmen have advantage over melee units when they are inside a building, ships, and siege tower? Or all units just share same fire power based on their counts?
