  1. Hello all sorry I Havn't posted in a long time. Alot has been going on with me lately. And the thing with Ken is kinda hard. I have made a post for Ken in our forums to show how much he has touched our lives. I would like to have you guys participate if you would like. There have been so many posts that he has done, So I just picked the ones that stood out the most for me. I would like him to be able to read these before he can't do that any more. That is my goal here. Ofter a person wonders what they leave behind when the our maker takes us back from where we are from. I often wonder what my legacy will hold. Well Ken has touched so many lives that I would like to share and have you share with Phoenix Clan how he has changed your or affected you. His legacy is us here and now. Not just his kin that he leaves behind on his new journey. So please follow the link provided and post to your harts content. http://phoenixclan.biz/pxcforum/index.php?showtopic=5717

  3. Hello again. I wanted to apologize for not putting it in the right place. When I posted in the fun and games area I realized I posted it in the wrong place. So I posted it in the general area. I didn't see the Introductions forum. I went back to deleat the old post I did and then I realized that I can't delete my old post, or even edit it. Thank you for fixing it for me. Also our web site is www.phoenixclan.biz
  4. First off let me say hello, I am Phoenix-Helldog of the Phoenix Clan. A few of you know me and alot don't. So Hello again. A little about myself for those who don't know me: I am 26 years old and for some god forsaken reason I am addicted to computer games. It might be the alternate reality to escape the horrors of everyday life, I think it is better than drugs so why not. Cheaper too. lol... I am a Federal Prison guard that works for the Department of Justice my department is known as B.O.P www.bop.gov . It isn't nothing for me to come home and spend hours on the computer trying to forget what has happend in my day. Some days are rough and luckly most aren't. I love to fish and Scuba Dive. I have been fishing since I was about 3 and Diving since I was 12. I consider myself to be an advanced diver. I have helped with teaching classes even though I am not an instructor, I just have alot of dives and I am related to one of the first diving instructors in the world. Infact that person is my grandfather who was in the first instructor diving class ever tought. I worked for his Diving company for a while and found out a family buisness is not for me. I want to keep my relationship with my family so I made the choice for personal reasons to leave and join the BOP. Enough of that and on with the gaming. I started out in the Wanderers Clan and helped finance it's start off by paying for their hosting and helping set up their forums. I met Phoenix-Birdman In Wanderers Clan. He was multi-Clanning at the time, then he and I became good friends. From there I met Phoenix-DragonSlayer. I found him to be a great person at the time. Who became a Friend and Mentor. Birdman left the Wanderers Clan (WND) to be a Senate member in the Phoenix clan. I still talked to him reagualarly and often about every day. We played Age of Mythology together and Dawn of the Modern World toghether. Needless to say he and I became good friends. A little younger than I, Yet he has a good head on his shoulders. I started talking to members of the Phoenix clan more and more. I then joined the Phoenix clan as well and bought Call Of Duty to play with them since it was an online game. I found that Phoenix was a great group of people to talk to and I learn from them still to this day. The main thing that impressed me the most was; how open they are and they are in my age group. There was a little leadership trouble at the WND shortly after it was bankrolled from Invision free- hosting to were now they controle their own pages of history. I got fed up with the Highschool mentality of highschooler's and stepped down. Don't get me wrong they are a great group of people, Just a little younger and less mature than what I am used to dealing with. I started talking to Birdman and Draonslayer more. I had to make a choice to either leave WND or Continue to be upset with the feeling of betrayal. I just felt betrayed by an single member and I won't say he did betray me, It is just how I felt though. About that time Dragonslayer and Birdman asked me if I wanted to become a permanent member of Phoenix. So I made my resignation for WND and became a Full fledged Phoenix. I wanted to contribute to Phoenix and give back to a group of people who spent countless hours teaching me the in and outs of invision boards. So I started the Phoenix Biz. The Pheonix Biz is the Phoenix Clans monthly news letter that I with the help of Other great members of Phoenix, write articles to put in a monthly newsletter to share our lives with one another. This news letter has come along way since it's founding. Each issue continues to get better and better. Most of the time a little longer. We put gaming articles in it, Bio's and technical articles to help each other out with. Back in about June or July of 2004 myself and Dragonslay with the aproval of the senate decided to sponsor a Graphics contest. We made it a inhouse only graphics contest and the prize's were a years subscribtion to a computer magazine of your choice and a Gaming mouse by logitech. We ended up with some great entries. We set it up in two phases. Phase one was anything you wanted as long as it was apropriate for a 3rd grader. Phase two had to have our clan logo in it. In the final judging we had to have a tie breaker judge come in. We ended up with some tallented people showing up. This brings me to O.A.D . I ended up moving from my old place and couldn't do the news letter for a few months because all my resources and computer ended up being packed away. I decided that after I got moved in I needed to spice up our news letter more. I wanted to do something that only happens in the magazines. I wanted to track a computer game that was in developement. So I asked Phoenix-TheRealDeal If I can Use O.A.D as my game to track. He got intouch with Phoenix-Wijitmaker to see if that would be ok for me to do and ask questions. So at this point I am preparing questions to ask your entire design team and him. We are designing graphics for our news letter and want to Use O.A.D in some of the titles. My goal is to go to as many clans as I can to promote the upcomming of this game. I admire what all of you have accomplished here and continue to acomplish. please remember that our newsletter is in development still and I will be probably posting it on our forums in late march or the first week of April. With my work schedule and all I work on it when i can. Also when I am not so frustrated that I want to scream. I enjoy this and I want it to be a winner. I think this is enough about me because I don't want to ruin The Real Deal's day by out length posting him. Joking of course. It is getting late so Please stop by our forums and say hi. Thank you for taking the time to read my lengthly post, and remember to smile smile.gif victory.gif .
