[How will flying units be handled?]

naw, no offense. i'm as facinated as you are by the strange workings of this forum setup. after being in aokh for so long, this is kinda alien to me.

btw, you mentioned a minor reference. i would be interested to know where that is. i don't have my copy of lotr handy right know, so i can't look.

btw, is that a minor reference to orcs flying or balrogs? i lost the context.

lemme see. if i were tolkien, and i wanted everyone on earth to know that balrogs could fly, i would say so. but since they don't, i don't put down anything about wings or flying.

example: orcs can't fly. at least without being flung by trolls. but does tolkien say that orcs can't fly? no. why? because it's a given. orcs aren't described as being able to fly or as having wings. same with the balrog.

now, is anyone as confused as me?
