You could have the game paused until the other player is connected, similar to when starting a new multiplayer game. Which would basically make the save just like a scenario.

It's not that easy to let people start at the same time. If you're willing to work on it, you can create a ticket to track your progress and ask for feedback. But otherwise there's not a lot of use in creating a ticket when nobody is going to work on it.
Would this fix the problem though?

My brother and I recently began playing multiplayer 0ad but found that there was no way to re-open a saved game. This could be easily fixed by adding saved matches to the list of available map types in the host server menu. Is there already a way to load saved games into a multiplayer server or can I add a ticket to the development? Any insight on this matter would be helpful.
Thanks,
K

The music tracks are being repeated, that should explain that they feel longer in-game
Indeed, however, there are some things that are only found in the game, such as the guitar in Highland Mist and the end of Cisaulpine Gaul which seems to have been chopped off.

Hello again,
Are you a conlanger?
If not, let me explain; a conlang is a constructed language. Such creations include Star Trek's Klingon and Avatar's Na'vi. They can be made for things such as books, movies, and...here it comes...games. If you're interested in conlanging, I suggest you check out www.zompist.com, The Language Construction Kit, and the Conlangery Podcast.
PS. Message me if you conlang. XD

Hi,
Just something I noticed when playing the game is that some of the tracks are longer than what is provided in the zip file or online player. I was just wondering why is that?
Also, is the music opensource as well, or is there any copyright on it?

It's not exactly 100 (that was just an estimation). I was placing legions of soldiers when the editor froze. It happens most of the time when I try to create complicated scenarios, mostly when I'm starting with a big battle. Yes it does happen when I am placing lots of units packed closely together (but not touching). My machine is an Ubuntu 12.04 that can barely handle the graphics involved. I have my suspicions about that being the problem.
-
Does that mean it's probably just my computer's graphics capabilities?

When I try to create a nice complex scenario and I use a whole lot of objects it'll freeze and crash. What does that mean? Does anyone else experience this?

So would I have to ask Omri Lahav?

Is there a URL where I can download some sheet music from the game?

I guess that will be for a mod, or a later version of 0AD because adding meshes, wouldn't be great for the lag. Also, painting all the textures would be a lot of work =)
Hopefully you can squeeze it into the game itself instead if making a sort of death mod. Also, instead of painting whole new textures, why not edit the old ones and save them as <unit>/dead. Like: Hoplite/Dead.

I think it would help the game if when a unit dies, its skin changes into something more...bloody. And there could be a gore setting to control how much...blood is on a unit. Perhaps there could even be a sensor that can tell what the unit has been killed by and controls if there are arrows in the skin or a long spear or just a gash or wound. Also, the more experienced the unit is, the more small wounds it gets on its alive skin. Is this possibility?

Ohhhhhhh. I'll try that.

It just says
ldd: /PATH/TO/pyrogenesis: No such file or directory
-
Should I tell you exactly what I did from the moment I opened 0 A.D.?
-
Yeah. It didn't work on my Ubuntu computer.
-
Yes. For instance, I could be able to name one peltast "steve". And if steve dies, I get a message telling me steve has been killed by cavalry swordsman.
-
This looks strange. What Ubuntu alpha15 package did you use (the one from the PPA or something else)? How did you get it working when building from source? Can you post the output of:
$ ldd /PATH/TO/pyrogenesis | grep gloox
for both the version built from source and the packaged one, specifying again for each version if the lobby works?
I went to the website, clicked download alpha 15 osiris. Then I said linux, then ubuntu and it told me how to download it from the terminal. That's all I understand of the question.

Hello all
Is it possible to give units and buildings individual names in the new version?
-
Is there anything I can do?
-
No. I'm using the A15 new release.
-
When I try to register in the multiplayer lobby, it says I'm "disconnected". How can I fix this?
-
I look forward to it! :D
