  1. Iberians certainly aren't overpowered due to starting walls. Research City Phase and build a couple of rams and those walls will turn into dust.

    Good question, and no I don't think it is a problem.

    Yes it is a problem , If the iberian player choses to raid while he cant be raided he has huge advantage , putting pressure while he is safefly booming in his base.

    Balancing a game means that everyone is in equal ground.

    Iberians start with a 1500 stone/resources investment while others with nothing.

    If you think they are vanurable give them a free tower next to their tc.

  2. I don't mind the slower growth (as long as it doesn't get boring. The beginning is a bit lacking in that aspect. Perhaps scouting could be made more important or something) . It's the fact that it suddenly goes in overdrive (and pureon is right) that's problematic.

    Perhaps the solution is actually slowing down the late game. Making buildings costlier, units less efficient/costlier/longer to train. Perhaps most tech could lengthen the training time, making for an interesting possibility for tech pairs or something.

    Perhaps smaller skirmish should be favored in the mid game (15-25 minutes on) before actually breaking out the big siege units and the big walls.

    You should try the current svn build with my changes , you will find yourself suprised of how gameplay has improved.

  3. If you want the game to be competitive/multiplayer , then you need to give what people want.

    Those 3 things i suggested are things that i noticed as soon as i played the game , i played 10-20 games wich might sound a small amount of games but for me there were enough to understand how the game works.

    I am Themistoklis Bonidis , pro gamer from greece .

    I have been top 1 player in all AoE: Series under the nickname TheMista , reachedTop 5 in grandmaster EU/Na on starcraft2 winning more than 75 tournaments+a lot more on AoE games.

    I also helped Microsoft games/Gas powered games balance Age of Empires : Online.

    I was wondering if this game needs any balance testers because from what i have recently seen the game is really promising.

    Any discussion , questions about me or about balance testing are welcomed.
