    Karma is generally referred to as "good", so the higher one's Karma is, the more his chance of being reincarnated as an overall better being. Applying to the forums, status change could occur if the karma reaches a certain level, which can be analogous to reincarnation as a higher being. Also, the lower your karma, the lower your chances of being born a better being (in fact, one may end up as a pig or a snake, etc.); so, the lower your Karma, the lower your status in society (in this case, the forum community; but that status is solely based on the amount of Karma) and the fewer perks one gets to enjoy (which is true, since there's a Premium section of the site, which can be attained when one reaches Nirvana, which is the highest amount/level of Karma). ;)

    Karma would work fine. It applies everywhere, even life. ;)

    Fill me in, what is/was karma?

    Karma is a Hindu/Buddhist concept and is like a collection of all your thoughts, actions, and words, divided up into Good and Evil. Good karma ultimately allows you to attain Nirvana. Bad karma allows you to be reincarnated as a lesser being. This would be a good concept (much more entertaining than "Points" :().

    ... but as far as the rest of the bible, I have found more and more evidence to doubt it. In the "Christian culture", my "doubts" weren't always address, and it wasn't until I took my own journey in research that I became aware of some serious troubles (theological, archeological, cultural) with the bible.

    You've piqued my curiosity Frumpus, what 'doubts' and 'troubles' did you have?

    I've also read the Bible and have found it to be too contradictory, and rather "Man's word" than "God's word". Afterall, the Bible did have more than 40 authors, taking that entire divinity of it out the door, especially when one version contradicted another, and one book mentioned something contrary to another.

    I think AoKH is going to have an unofficial "party" this Saturday. That would be a good day.

    Best time would be ~3:00 PM EST and after.

    Also, do you guys play Random Maps, Deathmatches, or Custom Scenarios? The usual custom scenario session of Multiplayer Custom Scenario Night is held on Saturdays, as well. RM is played, well, at any time. I play all, except Deathmatches.

    Also, do you guys have Zone names? It would be easier to know who is who so a game can be organized, without the interference of random Zoners (sorry for discriminating against Zoners, but if you have played on the Zone a lot, you'll acquire a distaste in Zoners, too).

    That wouldn't really help, since most people escape to the United States to escape persecution, war, and poverty (e.g. Cubans, Mexicans, etc.), plus a variety of other reasons. Also, if you do cut off immigration, I fear for the future of the U.S. The U.S. would not be able to boast being the most powerful nation in the world. Immigration has built the United States.
