If next release will have implemented a simplified wall construction this one could be fine. Jericho: an ancient city with the strongest walls according to the Bible.

Personally i dont like 'Ides of March' ,the last alpha name.I think this had to be in latin. Only my opinion, All that matters is the game itself!!
We need to know the big new features than the team focussed and propose an perfect name.

Need something more Roman. :/ I like Janus, but in Latin it's Ianus, which has unfortunate connotations in English.
Hey, im not english native, why Ianus has english connotations?
I think the pronunciation is very different in latin. Ianus is a great name too.
So, there are my 3 options: Iulius, Imperator, Ianus

Well, really Juluis Ceasar is in latin : Iulius Caesar
I think Iulius Caesar, must be the name but Imperator is good too.

I like Herodotus, seems to fit the theme that is already there.
i don't know man, but i think that herodotus is very.... clasic.
Yeah, he is the father of the history and registered Greco-Persian Wars, but the main theme should be the persian civilization.
So Haxāmaniš sounds..... exotic, really exotic : )

there is always one that wants to impose to the others.
is that the problem for those who are living in 0 AD (Año Cero)(in Spanish).
0 AD is a Real Time Strategy very similar to Age of Empires,
Civilizations, Military Forces, Tech Evolutions (Upgrades).
those facts are the Typical about a Pc gender that who fans never leave.
The Objetive for this game is control a game Map as you kill all enemies,
we expand our people with villager (citizen) or soldiers and buildings that will give us new skills.
When we chosen a technologies, the others that we dont use become useless then strategic component are strong and our desitions are important.
The design for 0 AD are great with graphics that enhance day to day, unique buildings and units for each civilization in game, if youre a good for thinking you have years ahead to play for your favorite passion.

The idea of the middle east or western asia is great. They had a rich and rough history.
In our game period Jerusalem, have persians, greeks(macedonians), and independence period and then romans.
Maybe Jerusalem, Judea or Jericho.
Edit : The city of Jerusalem have real and powerful walls in different times.
