Sheep and projectiles

As you probably know, it often takes a highly trained skirmisher ~10 throws of his spear to hit a defenseless sheep. Shouldn't this be considered a bug? Is there any intention to have it fixed?

Perhaps all entities that can be hit could have a 'Defense' stat controlling how easy (or how hard) they are to hit?

Best solution is to just give ranged units a tertiary melee attack (a knife for instance) that they'll use on non-skittish animals (chicken, sheep, lions, etc.).

And no, we don't want to use this feature to give archers knives to use against melee troops that are too close.

I think this could be done easily, we already have a "GetBestAttackAgainst(target)" function, we could add a special hunting case for ranged units which only get used when attacking certain animals.
