If you are interested and confident enough with javascript then you could try implementing the paths yourself. To my knowledge nobody has mentioned they are working on the random map scripting. All of th existing code is there in the rmgen folder, and creating a path with added noise shouldn't be too difficult. of course if you don't want to that is fine, but be aware that it might take a while before the feature is added in that case.
