Make the game a portable option

I would like to request an option to set the path in witch the game looks for it's data files (with the default to the current configuration, of course), so I can set it to local.

Just noticed nobody has replied to this topic. This would be useful, I think that several things would need changing since a few directories are used for storing logs and screenshots, maybe ti would be best to open a report on trac.

You first have to log in/register, then there is a 'New Ticket' link in the navigation bar. If you want me to I could create it for you, but if you create one then you will be informed about any updates to the ticket.

Ok, I did it.

I hope this will be implemented soon. Personally, I have the game installed on one computer, but I use many, and all my programs are inside my USB HD.

OK it took me some time but I've made a portable package for 0.a.d alpha 8 using Cameyo.

When alpha 9 will be released, I will make an effort to release a portable package fast enough.

Where can I upload it to share with you?

EDIT: I can see that I can upload it to "Development" forum. So I'll open a thread there.
