evanssthomas
Hi Folks!I'm Evans, I work as a software engineer, and I'm crazy about programming - especially games. The first decent game I played was AoE: The Rise of Rome Demo. I've been a big fan of the AoE series. In fact, I stumbled upon 0AD by searching for "Age of Empires Open Source clone" in Google I can program decently, but not too much in C++. Started off making games in VB6, VB.NET, C# and then went on to Web Development.I'm really interested in this project and I'm ready to learn whatever I have to, to contribute. It'd be great if you guys could suggest a starting point for a beginner where I could begin hacking with the game engine. Small bug fixes and the like maybe?Eager to begin... Jeru
Hi Evans, welcome. Under the keyword "simple" on our Trac system we keep simpler, self-contained bugs and feature requests, meant for developers without a broad knowledge of the codebase. Sounds right up your alley.Check out the development forum for any questions, suggestions or ideas.
