My name is Rémi, I'm French. I'm 18.

I'm very interested about 0 AD. I am curently reading the wiki.

I'm not a dev, but I think i can help and would like to. I can translate texts from english to french or portuguese.

Actually i'm very interested about the sound part. There is sound in every RTS, every units say something when youc click on them, or when you tell them to do something. Same with structure. Or when units move. Etc ...

About voices of the units we can easily find "open source" library of recorded words on internet. Like here : http://swac-collections.org/ (french one).

Same for other sounds. Or if we don't find what we need, we can recorded ourselves.

The firsts thing to do, it's to list which sounds we need, wich words in wich languages. For every units.

And if there are things done yet about the soud thing, or if there is something I have to read about this, please tell me. I saw, in the pre-alpha, that there is walk sound in infantry units.

I hope my english is not that bad.

Matt is in charge of the sound for 0 A.D. and you are invited to talk to him directly about whatever interests you. Matt has a team of sound people and a list of sounds he wishes to record. AFAIK we want to make all the sounds and music brand new for 0 A.D. but I am sure Matt can evaluate your link specifically. Thanks.

I believe voice actors will only be required later in the development of the game, but you are always invited to keep track of the game (via RSS, Twitter, Facebook etc) and participate in these forums.
