Please respond with a solution, if there is one. And if there isn't, I apologize for wasting your time.Sincerely,Bladex1200
Ykkrosh
Are you using the pre-alpha release version of the game? If so, that's a known problem (#484) - you could try getting the latest version from SVN, as described here (just download the code, ignore all the stuff about building and Visual C++ etc) and run its binaries/system/pyrogenesis.exe. It'd be great if you could let us know whether that fixes the problem or not
Bladex1200
I still need to compile the binaries, so It'll take a while before I can run it. I'm currently downloading TortoiseSVN, so I'll get back to you later. Thanks for the help!EDIT: TortoseSVN is currently compiling the data. In a few hours, I should be playing 0 A.D. Again, thanks for the help, Ykkrosh! It's much appreciated. I've been tracking this game since 2007, so it's nice to see it finally in a form that I can play around with.EDIT 2: Unfortunately, the server keeps disconnecting me when I attempt to download the compiled data. I'll dump out my current files and try again tomorrow. Edited April 27, 2010 by Bladex1200
janwas
That can happen in times of heavy load - you could check out with depth="Immediate children", which will only get you the (empty) top-level folders and files. Then move into source/, update, repeat as necessary until everything is there. (Might be more convenient to use the command-line SVN client for that, because it can more easily be automated)Once you've gotten source/, build/ and libraries/, it should be possible to compile; binaries/ is of course much bigger and will take longer to download. You may also prefer to download a snapshot (http://trac.wildfiregames.com/wiki/LatestRelease) and update from there - that'll be easier if your bandwidth is good but the SVN server is overloaded.
