hm, that system should definitely suffice smile.gif Are you running a debug build? Switching to release boosts the framerate considerably.Always been debug. When running the _dbg.exe not through visual basic. It runs just fine. Maybe gets a bit choppy during battles.
I'm really not worried too much about performance tbh.
It would only take seconds and helps us as well as yourself (e.g. notification when something related to the issue changes).I did back when I typed it

Actually it seems that they arent quite as infinite. They do eventually die. Also find it to be the first field everytime busts like this.

hm, I don't think we've seen that before. What are the steps to reproduce this problem? (What map? Was it triggered by giving the order to chop wood / work a farm etc.)
Building units in the barracks I do believe is what generates the problems.
I've just added a readme.txt there that explains that log files are only created at this location if you launch with -writableRoot. The log files should be located in %appdata%/0ad/logs.Ohhhhhh Yesturday I read %appdata% and I'm like... wait that folder into in there anywhere.
I've got the crashdump now.

hrm, it looks like you launched the game from the VS IDE. Could you please run it without a debugger so it has the chance to write out a crashlog?

hm, that's a vicious circle - if the framerate is too low, then a debug_printf raises that warning, which is quite slow, thus further lowering the framerate and so on.What are your system specs? There's little that can be done here besides using a release build and/or disabling the warning.

I also just bought an HD 4650 to get ATI Firestream gpgpu. The CUDA equivalent.
Plenty of power to play Grand theft auto 4 and just about any other game I can find.
Could you please create a trac ticket for that one? (trac.wildfiregames.com) It'd also be helpful to know if that was a once-off event (happened only once during 10 test runs) or whether it's common and always happens if you farm for xx seconds.bah. Been putting off registering there heh.

Also I have an inside the game bug.
The field amount went to.
Which made it infinite. Debugger never gave me anything for it though. Logs have nothing also.

No. The game didnt even crash. I had to kill the process to get rid of it.

Ya. Like I can quicklaunch the game and get it going. But normal launch gives that problem.

No. I've purposely disabled practically all services. With few exceptions.

I suspect it has much to do with services not being turned on my machine. Havent had a game yet that needed WMI.

Assuming the op was doing the same I was doing with having put it in "my documents" then trying to build.
If he just copied and pasted the folder over to elsewhere. It will give odd issues. I think possibly due to linkers or something. Essentially parts of the program are still pointing to the original location. Op should try to start from scratch; brand new checkout.

actually I moved my folder out of my documents... perhaps the space \ crap is causing issues.
I do believe that is what is going to fix this perhaps.
