Finally after months of being unable to launch 0ad, here is a "Fix" for Ubuntu 10.04 & 10.10 to update to newest nvidia drivers. sudo add-apt-repository ppa:ubuntu-x-swat/x-updates sudo apt-get update sudo apt-get upgrade reference: http://www.ubuntuupdates.org/ppa/ubuntu-x-swat
