Running this solved my issue - 

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:oibaf/graphics-drivers

sudo apt update

sudo apt upgrade

 

Does this mean I won't get updates of the game hereafter normally?

1. No, I do not have any mods installed. Here is the my directory structure -

2. What do you mean by using PPA? As you might already know, I installed "latest/stable" snap from ubuntu software center

Can you please post zip file through which I can install this mod? For some reason, I am unable to install with pyromod file (My system is Ubuntu 20.04 if it helps).
