300 Mod

Introduction:

Today I'd like to present you a little modification I just created today. I recently (today) got used to the usage of assets and actor files and messed up around a bit + changed some textures and wanted to show you off what the result was:

I accidently (not really :D) created Spartans who looked like those in 300 (large golden shield with ^, golden helmet, half-nude etc...)

All I used was the game assets + a little changed picture of a shield template resized to 64x64 + changed the outer side to a shield-like fitting colour (see yourself by inspecting the shield texture for what I mean) and created a new texture based on the gaul upper-body, the pants of a tunic wearer and the bracers from leonidas + a normal spartan helmet in combination and the result was promising to me.

Features:
- Spartan Champion Spear unit replaced to look resembled to 300 Movie.

Installation Guide:

Simply drag-and-drop the files from the .rar archive into "...0 A.D/binaries/data/mods/ and activate it under Options in the Main Menu Mod Manager!
