I uninstalled libboost*-dev packages, whitout installing anyting else after that, and the game works perfectly (standard distribution, not from the SVN repo). I can't understand why the game works now, but I'm so happy, the game was crashing all the time (ubuntu repos, PPAs, source and regardless the driver, video card or configuration I was using, after long debates on this forum the problem wasn't solved until now, after a complete reinstallation and mainly a better support of Optimus in Ubuntu 14.10 [precedently, a complete reinstall of 14.04 changed nothing]...).

Hi, I reinstalled my system (Ubuntu GNOME 14.10) and then 0AD, but I can't start the game : 0ad: error while loading shared libraries: libboost_filesystem.so.1.54.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directoryI installed libboost-all-dev package but it still doesn't works. I don't know if it's useful for you but here are my libboost_filesystem libraries : morgan@alembic:~$ sudo find / -name libboost_filesystem.so*/usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libboost_filesystem.so.1.55.0/usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libboost_filesystem.soSo the good version isn't present on my system. I'm using GNOME. 0AD was working before, it crashes since an update. I can try 0AD on my Debian (I have a triple-boot Windows-Ubuntu-Debian), it runs under XFCE. -

The game crashes again, and at startup directly. I have no explanations, it was working on my last post. -

@Zzippy : For the temperature, I just ran 4 glxgears (that's "agressive" monocore, so I ran one per core), the processor temperature was 85-95 degrees and the Nvidia GPU was 62 degrees, stable. No problems. @Georges : Yeah, but driver 343 also brings some improvements, that's why I installed it. But if the 331 driver works for me, I will keep it. However, if the game has a problem with 343, the developers may be interested. -
"If the game starts with it save the changes" Can you repeat ? ^^ In the options, I've also activated Windowed Mode, after a restart the game was windowed but Alt+Enter still not work. Other problems I noticed : Graphic option Post Processing never worked for meGraphic option Smooth LOS makes the game crash

I've just tested nvidia-331, for the moment the games runs. But for how many time ? With the 343 the game was working perfectly 15 minutes until the game crashed. I will test the game tonight and tell you if I'm still unlucky ^^ -

I know how to change my drivers, that's the fourth time I change my graphic drivers since I have problems with 0AD, I'm just tired of this xD -

Ok zzippy, I will try as soon as possible, but I'm sceptical with the thermal theory, since the game was working perfectly before I posted the first time on this topic, and the game also crashes when the computer is cold after hours of non-use. And before this topic, the game was working with the 343 driver. @Georges : No, Georges, nvidia-343 is more recent than 331, and 343 supports the two chips. -

Nope, I just tested, the computer was off all the night, now it's cold, but the game crashes directly (not at the startup, but when I run a new game). And both on Nvidia or Intel chips. Delete the configuration doesn't change anything. -

The game has just crashed, ingame :'( I'm not sure this is the same problem, because the texture were correctly generated on GPU. Edit : just tried to begin another game. Instant crash. Edit : and again -
First things I've noticed : Alt-Enter no more switches between windowed and fullscreen modes. When I'm ingame, I have no way to access my system other than quit the game without I can save the current game. I don't know what I've done to get this bug (but I promise, nothing special !) : when I scroll to zoom, the zoom reaches directly his maximum, and when I scroll to un-zoom, the zoom reaches directly his minimum, there is no steps between the plane view and the ant view. Edit : the game just crashed, ingame. Maybe the same problem as before ? Or not ? Before this crash, the texture generation was working, even on the GPU. Sorry if sometimes I'm not very clear, my uncle is rich, but my vocabulary is poor, and my country is France
