Such community based projects are always going to take time, especially when the people working on the game are actually becoming experts in their prospective fields, not to mention people working on the projects also have a life (except for Cheezy).
My only dream is to play the game, see it released and see how the gaming world appreciates such a project, even if it releases in 2010. Just knowing, even when being an outsider, of how this all started and how this is going to end, take all the time you guys want Jason.

Having been here when it all first started, and not having visited WFG for a long long time, its good to know that things are going well. The GDC video was great, screenshots are nice.
I hope the project sees frutition and inspires other people to develop games this way.

Now that screen looks really good.
The shadows are perfect, look at the way the terrain mixes - good job.
I can't comment much on the human figures as I can't see them properly.
The trees, the eye-candy, all look great too.
Keep up the good work, can't wait to try this game out.

Another thing I would like to add,
Many times, you don't even need two menus (selection, list).
For example, map generation can come just in the bottom one, same with Terrain placement, same with Units too infact.
As such everything can be incorporated into one set of box, but two might be useful for triggers and camera sequences.
So I would suggest keeping one of the box relative to the menu selected, you don't need it all the times, unless you plan to have a way to incorporate all functions in two lists.

Its always nice to see apart from the great artwork and renderings, real game footage because in the end that is what matters most.
And it is even better when the things look good
Can't wait to see some models, hopefully pretty soon that would be

That is looking quite good infact. Can't wait to see more.
Great job by the guys working on the engine.

Make the top menu bar a bit slimmer as said, rest seems good.
Although box help is a good idea, I think that can be integrated as a menu? Or give an option to close it maybe.
Help for current tool can be displayed in info bar.

I don't know what has happened, as I am not a part of the staff.
Whatever happened isn't good, it is sad to see a member leave.
I have seen Wijit, leading WFG since a long time and till I have only seen a good leader in him
