  1. The weird thing is, I have an ATI card, not nvidia. I'm not sure why nvidia is showing up everywhere. Also, I haven't touched

    anything to do with video drivers since I installed opensuse, so I would imagine I'm using stock.

  2. Could you possibly post a screenshot, too? (Broken drivers are known to cause problems with everything except text being invisible, but I don't think I've heard of only the text disappearing, so I'm not sure what way it's breaking.)

    I can run any other command you guys would think would be helpful. Could it be that I am using dwm as a window manager and not kde?
