  1. Great screenshot - animation looks very good, and I think the territory lines look great. Are those archers on the bottom right?

    For the bonus screenshot: Are all the spears, javelins, pila, etc., going to be sticking vertically or lieing on the ground?

  2. Ummm...Hate to break the string of good comments here, but what's with the midget starboard oars? If they're in the water, shouldn't they be bent down more?

    On another note, can't wait to see more of that second type of siege engine over to the right. ;)

  3. You know what would be interesting for the territory system?

    Taxes, according to what economic building you have in the area, and how much land you own.

    I also like the stockpiled stone from the quarry

  4. Nah, they probably are just way better strategists than us, making sure that nobody can attack them from the back.

    Goods: Great charge. I like the guy in the front moving them on. Had the romans archers there though...

    The grass is terrific too.

    Bads: Why do the romans look like clones? It's just so regular it looks surreal.

    And wasn't the triplex acies in the cohort style created after the time in this 'shot?

  5. I don't know... I voted romans, but only because I know most about them and successful civs in the real world are usually better in games, but I currently hold almost no loyalty to an civ really...

    WHERE ARE THE CHINESE HERE???!!!

    Anyways, as for that Third Triumphirate of the staff from earlier...since triumphirates never lasted long and nearly always ended with the death of one (or death of right after), I'm not holding too much faith in it.

    P.S.: When do we get tech trees for the civs? I really want to see them.

  6. The reeds definately look good, along with the rocks and combat. But why are half the hellene soldiers just standing there? Perhaps a battle-near-by stance should be created?

    As for the water, really good, but I think the texture and color of the water itself should be a little less prominent.

    And as a final shot, maybe you could think about having that woman in the building at least hiding?

    Other than that, GREAT WORK, and I look to the game;s release with great anticipation
