I'm nobody relevant in this community and also I don't know if this thread is still in use, but I would like to say a few things.
First I don't think 0 A.D. completely lacks a distinctive feature. Just go online and you will see an active community of players everyday. Whenever there is a match involving some of the top players there are 4, 5, 8 people watching (I know that is nothing compared to AoE2 online standards, but hey... this is an open source game in alpha stage, no advertisement,
