I have a problem with this feature, i use ctrl+a number to manage my groups of soldiers, and when needed I like to pick 1/2/3 or 4 soldiers from a group to building something or to repare a captured building. Now each time that I want to pick 1 soldier the whole group is selected, how can I change that? There is nothing in the option.

Hotkey allows you to pick out individuals

I think it should be 500 BC to 500 AD. :)

No that's correct. Only DE covers that.

I disagree. :P

Still says 500 BC to 500 AD and the mid point is 0.

Rather than going back to letter A, suggesting that the name for the next alpha should reflect the features being added/changed? Like this present one, of course.

True, the Briton heroes being the ones that flourished after 1 BC is an example. Those three should be put as Atlas-only entities, replaced with those consistent with the timeframe.

However, I would not be very strict with the time frame. Its a game and a lot of the CIVs didn't fight each other anyway. For me it is more the technologies of the iron age which puts the CIVs in the more or less same development state and there are CIVs where this happened before 500 BC and some where this happened after 500 AD. This just limits the CIVs people can work on for no good reason.

Good catch, I had never seen it before. I suppose it's because they planned empires_besieged. which doesn't exist yet. Would be nice to have it on 0 A.D. mods

I could literally start such a mod and add the DE civs that apply for quick content. It would be a work in progress mod of course, with DE features removed

Please for the next release give clothes to the celts. they weren't naked at all. I could even say that the basic adretos naked with only a cape, seems ridiculous.

I have lag with A26 (none with A25), especially when i play with the Han civ. I tried all the available settings, I can't get rid of this lag. Map 2 vs 2 (Me + 3 AI), very large map. The chinese buildings are very nice, but some of them are too similar (houses and the storage building -don't know the real name in english)

Map 2 vs 2 (Me + 3 AI),非常大的地图。 中式建筑很不错,但有些太相似了(房屋和储藏室-不知道英文真名)

I agree, it's also a "barbarian" stereotype to think that Celtic or Germanic people like to be shirtless.

The same feeling, AI is much stronger than before, they will not attack with scattered troops, but will continue to attack with large groups of troops when they are ready.

1. Not all the Celts are "naked" in the game. This is an exaggeration.

2. It is not that rare to fight naked or bare-chested in ancient times.

3. There are evidences for the Celts:

Could you share your logs (system_info.txt, userreport_hwdetect.txt, mainlog.html, interestinglog.html)? You might find paths to them here: https://trac.wildfiregames.com/wiki/GameDataPaths

The naked celt | A thing for the past

In fact the greek representations of the celts are not accurate at all. their art represent the vision of them through their own culture. A naked barbare is a barbare idealized and stereotyped. Don't forget that nudity for the greeks was very symbolic. I read tons of book about the celts/gauls/celtiberian etc and the nudity in fight is not seriously considered a certainty

Modern reinterpretations of modern scholars, or is there really any first-hand evidence?

在中国的亚洲历史上,有一些版本或害怕被公开赤身裸体而被嘲笑。

我似乎已经看到在亚洲国家以这些方式支付不忠行为。

The content given by my translation plugin is a bit strange, are you trying to say whether being naked in Chinese civilization circles is a form of humiliation and punishment?

??? Didn't for example the ancient Greek compete naked in sports? And have naked guys on vases etc.? Where's the shame in that?

Sometimes not everything society teach you in school or in history is totally correct.

I disagree that it is a stereotypical barbarian depiction. The Thracians and the Scythians weren't depicted regularly as naked by the Greeks. Nor the Germans and the Dacians by the Romans. Only Celts have been depicted consistently like this.

Above, I showed you different evidences from Etruscans, Greeks and Romans but also from native Celtiberians and Venetians.

In addition, we have at least two accounts mentioning Celtic warriors fighting naked. Even if the Greeks and the Romans exaggerated their depictions, it is difficult to dismiss all those evidences.

In the game, there is only one unit naked. Other units start bare-chested and gain body armor with experience.

Acceleration may make unit motion appear slower. I wouldn't say performance overall is worse than a25, but I do think some performance tuning is needed for a27.

I've seen multiple players in the lobby say they would even rather take performance improvements over content if they had to choose one of the two.
