On the 4th, Nasa finished their Deepimpact mission.

I watched the live feed from the NASA mission control room for a few hours yesterday. Everyone was so excited when the first part impacted the comet. And it sent back some amazing images.

Basically they hit a big hunk of copper into the comet and the other part recorded what happened far away. They hope to learn a lot about the beginning of the universe and the formation of Earth. :D
