~ Orion Awards Winners ~

Recommended Posts

Well, this definently will pale compared to Oscars, but it was fairly fun for me at least. Remember that amount of votes is irregular because some people nulled their votes. While I see this Orion season (I had two Orion Awards in AoKH, but awarding scenarios and mods for AoK) as somewhat of a failure, it only gives me more reason to plan a better one for September ;) But here's the results, with votes this time (I forgot to show those for nominations)

To answer how Orion works:

I take votes to see who will get nominated

(I will confess that I added nominees in one or two catagories, since I wanted some competition, but only when there was obvious competition... but other than that I remained unvoting)

Then I post the nominees (pretty much anyone who got a vote, except that if there's more than 5 candidates I take the ones with most votes - this time I only had to take each vote because few people voted for different nominees)

Then I take votes from the nominees to see who wins. So basically the forumers decide who gets nominated, and who wins. My involvement stops after adding some competition, and that's only done if there is little competition to begin with.
