Is responding to questions with + and - unique to wildfire games?

As you're all surely aware, wildfire players often use + to respond "yes" to a question, and - to respond "no" to a question. My question is, is this bit of lingo unique to Wildfire, or do you see it used anywhere else in the online world? For my part, I've only seen it in some games.

If it is indeed unique to Wildfire, well, that's pretty awesome that we invented a piece of lingo! ^_^
