The map aren't scouted by own people

Hi,

the titel is saying the bug.

But here a complet bug report:

First, I send my cav into the black area, in the hope, that he scout the area.

So at all it works, but then the cav is not been seen, whats wrong? The cav didin't scout the area and were lost in the darknes.

Sry for my badly english, I'm not really good at this ;)

For a better problem discription look on my Let's Play:

It will be grate, that the bug will be repaired, so it will be possible that I can start a Let's Play serie.

Most likely he got killed by an enemy unit or wildlife.

So we'd like some info from it. Can you get your system_info.txt and mainlog.html for us? See http://trac.wildfiregames.com/wiki/GameDataPaths on where to find them.

We'd also like if your recording software might influence your video card's behaviour. So can you test if this happens without recording, and tell us what software you use to record.

Also, is this always reproducible (does it happen on all maps)? Thanks a lot.

First, I used for the recording Fraps. And I don't know how the programm is using my video card.

I can't say it, that it do it on all maps, because I didn't play it a lot, because I had more projects, you know ;) so it can be possible.

As I can remember as I play it first time it was on the "gallic grass level" or so and there I had only the problem that it didn't scout over an speciall range, but they scout!

From the start to the end.

The visible terrain doesn't follow the units. Philip thinks the masking texture got stretched and skewed because it's not nicely clipped.

That meens ? Sry, but I'm not good in reading programm language ;) Of course I visit an informatik lesson on my school but there we only programm with css so that is even not my language I would understand :)

I don't know the actual details. But we use a texture to decide which parts of the maps are visible, and which aren't. Apparently, that texture gets clipped to fit the map, but something went wrong with that, so the visible regions end up in the wrong part of the map.

http://trac.wildfiregames.com/changeset/15216 hopefully will have fixed this problem, but it's still not clear why the problem occurred and why nobody else has reported it before. So it would still be interesting to know if you see the same problem when disabling the video recording program, or disabling any other game overlay things that might change the game's behaviour.

so I had maked an second video on an slower map with the same recording programm.

On this map, it works. All was perfect.

But now i did not know, if that problem had something to do with the size of the map.

But it still works an that is the positiv new :)
