rejoicing
Eles and cav can be garrisoned, why not dogs? = Feature request.
Gurken Khan
I always thought it was a deliberate decision. (Not that I wouldn't want to let my doggos inside...) @Freagarach?

Your enemies can't capture a building guarded by twenty Britons dogs can't they? Edited September 14 by Atrik
Gurken Khan
When my CC was attacked and I realized I couldn't garrison my dog I made it run away; since then they're healers pets. On "Defensive" so they won't run off senselessly, but that also means they're not even attacking enemies in sight... I don't use throw-away units and go for zero losses and I extent that to my dogs.
rejoicing
I dont think one should be able to garrison dogs in cc's or fort same as eles. Since there are no humans, they should not have additional arrows. but garrisoning in stable should be possible.
Gurken Khan
Going into CC and adding arrows are two different things; women for example don't add arrows when their inside a CC. And at least worker eles can go into the CC (when they're not stuck on the corner of it); so doesn't really make sense why a dog should not.

Indeed, don't think dogs have the class "Soldier" so they won't add arrows or gain experience in stable by default anyway. If ever allowed to garrison
rossenburg
How about the ability to heal dogs instead?. Garrisoning them inside dog houses heals them or somehow, some units should be able to heal them cause early phase as a Briton player, you can get 1 or 2 women kills with that one dog but later to find out there’s no way to heal it. I believe killing a dog counts as a kill so we should somehow be able to heal them . I’ve been talking about this feature for a while now. Hopefully it gets integrated.
Gurken Khan
There's no dog houses as of now, and "later" you can heal them with your healers. Let them go into their production building (stable) as any other unit; this will also heal them if you have researched the temple perks. btw: do they heal when idle and have researched that at the temple? AND let them into the CC.
rossenburg
There’s a special brit dog kennels purposely for training war dogs. That’s what I was referring to, dunno if it got removed. Max is 3 or something of that sort.
borg-
I think we can have the kennels again, it was removed because it had no historical basis.
Gurken Khan
I'd be fine with kennels as an abstraction; there's no historical basis for CCs either.

real_tabasco_sauce
Yeah, arguably there is less historical accuracy to train them from the stables, no?
wowgetoffyourcellphone
I never agreed with its removal, but I didn't care enough to argue about it at the time.
