How do I attack my own units?

I am playing this game like 5-6 hours.my playing style is sandbox like i like role play my self. but i cant force attack my own units how do i do it? like i like my units fight each other. Please help.

I'm playing this game for some years now, and I don't think it's possible to attack your own units.

And frankly I don't see much sense in doing that.

What you can do is to remove ai from player slot and use cheat to change between 2 players. That way you can have fighting units and kind of control both of them. Its a bit tedious with switching but doable.

You could also run two instances of the game and play lan multiplayer against yourself, ie each window controlling a player. Trivial if on LInux probably harder on Windows.

no, it definitely is. This is how I tested the melee rebalancing mod.

I wonder if they thought your comment was a joke because "change perspective" sounds like imagining you are the enemy.

It also will be cool if units will be able to swim. Not like ships, but anyway.

I'm a beginner too. In fact, when you want to get out of the sandbox, you tend to fight against opponents who are at the "medium" level. This is where you realize that the "medium" level is rather "very difficult".

You have to play as much as possible against the "very easy" level, in order to learn the intricacies of the game. Today, I just tried the "easy" level. I won, but narrowly. This is where I understood that to defend against rams, you had to use throws (or women. Yes, yes.), because archers are powerless to counter rams.

"Throws"? What works best against rams is blades; that's why women with their daggers work, too.
