  1. wonderful !!!!! excellent interview (looking forward to Jan 3rd) ...
however, one minor remark ... next time, woudl it be possible to make a "ask your questions to whoever-staff" thread ...?
forumers could post any questions they would like to ask the interviewed staff ... eventually, dathui would gather the questions and make theinterview he thinks he the best
    what do you think?

Hehe, I tried to tell him (yesterday) that you would like this, and I specifically said "you". :saruman:

  2. The palantíri could not examine the thoughts of people themselves, suddenly or against their will; for the transfer of thoughts depended on the will of the users on both sides, and thoughts (recieved as speach) could only be transfered from the first stone to another that was in harmony with the first stone.

  3. That's correct, we do not currently have a concept artist, except for Whopper. But he has not been around until a few days ago and his status is still inactive.

    :Announcement from the inside:

The first interview, I believe, will be with... Bernd (aka Enarwaen) one of our Game Designers. :saruman:

  4. @Adam

I said that you posted without any such things, in other words, even if you had the research, you did not present it, and as such your arguments appear to others as rash.

Ok, I see that's what you meant now, sorry.

Well like I said earlier, I have been talking with Erik (via PM) and that is where I had previously provided the findings of my research and so on. But yes, I had previously failed to present it here. (for some reason I was thinking that what I had said to Erik had been said here also[i guess because both conversations were going on at the same time])

I guess I don't really understand the motivation for this thread.

Aye, lol, I never meant for this thread to be started. Someone split the thread, and for good reason.

What definition of Christian do you use?
    What does "Christian" mean?

See, this is where the real problem lays isn't it? Good that you pointed it out, Adam.

Being a Christian, to me, means that you believe Jesus Christ died for your sins and that you are forgiven, and lead now a new life, along with having faith in Him. That simple.

    @Curu'

come one, making images of a God or worshipping the Saints is not really a big flaw compared to other teachings of Jesus from the Gospels which are usually ignored by Protestants ....

Let us hear of these flaws and judge now which is the worse in the eyes of God.

  5. Well my only argument to this is that freezing cold can be considered physical harm.

Yea, it's difficult to know for sure. But we must look at WHY they could die by freezing cold. Was it that the cold induced some form of sickness, such as pneumonia? If not, how did they die by the cold? Could they live until the temperture got SO extreme that their blood literally froze?

  6. I suppose Erik and I should have had our discussion here on the forum, but we figured it was best not to. Anyways, we've had a very good one and a lot was said and taken note of.

Adam, I'm surprised that you said I had not done any research or reasoning and had no proof. Seriously, I'm surprised.

For there is a lot of proof, and as AK_Thug said, both sides can seem to be right under certain circumstances. And as for my proof/research, etc. Erik could tell you that I've told him a lot :saruman:.

    But I'll post some now...

The second of the Ten Commandments says "Thou shall not make or worship any graven images of anything in the air, or on the earth, or in the sea". The Catholics have many, many statues and icons that they use in their teachings, and it sometimes makes a person wonder if they see more in their faith in God than in these images.

Then there is the praying to the saints, which I have already mentioned.

And they also teach that one must do good deeds to get into heaven, along with faith in Jesus Christ. I emphasize "MUST".

Now I do think that a lot of Catholics hold better to their faith than many Protestants, and they sometimes seem more commited. But it is the Second Commandment which concerns me the most.

Anyways, I do not claim that they ARE NOT Christians, I said I simply wonder.

So unfortunately I see many flaws in what you said Adam, for I HAVE done research and I DO have convictions and what some might call evidence. And I never said that they weren't Christians, and I can prove that I never said that if you look in my first post on this thread.

  7. I don't really see how lack of sleep could really hinder them physically, seeing as nothing short of actually bodily damage can harm them physically.

Hmm. Voronwe and Tuor were about to die in the snow storm they were hiking through when they were attempting to reach Gondolin. Voronwe even admited that they might die, for he said something like they had to keep going, in vain hope, or seek the snow sleep. This comes from the UT by the way.

So anyways, I'm a little uneasy to agree with the statement "nothing short of actual bodily damage could harm them." I assumed you meant with weapons and the like.
