Another unit which is good is the lance cavalry citizen
Siege towers are better than bolt shooters, they have just lower movement speed and range -
Install the mod autociv and use its additional hotkeys.
For example I chose all women with alt+a, all soldiers with alt+s, all cavalry with alt+e and so on...- 1

So elephants are OP. They should not receive armor upgrades (elephants wear neither shields nor armor for humans) and maybe not the will-to-fight-upgrade (didn't know that elephants have fighting moral as humans do). Plus, they should cost more metal again, similar to alpha23. And asian elephants should have at least a reduction of strength according to alpha23. And maybe elephants should also have a weakness against spearmen/pikemen like cavalry does?

I think it would be historically inaccurate to do this.
In a row or in a 1v5? "In a row" does not matter too much, group fights are the thing.

Cleopatra is so much better than Ptolemaios... Because mercenaries are a waste of resources now.

Macedons and successors all have champ cavalry, which they can boost
- Macedons with Phillip
- Seleucids with Antiochus and the upgrade- Ptolemies with Cleopatra (she is not as fast, but the best hero in the game nevertheless)

Maharbal. The 30% bonus is better than the +2 armor. Can also be combined with champions.
At the other hand, the Cataphrakts can receive the bonus upgrade, which makes them stronger in the end
Btw I like sword cav more than spear cav

In A23, Agis had twice as much health as other infantry heroes, that was his bonus. The dev team made the blunder to eliminate this on accident, so now there is no real reason to train Agis ever instead of Leonidas, because Leonidas is like an Agis with an extra Aura

I think it makes more sense than to have it as arrow-shower vehicles like they are now. Due to infantry cannot capture walls, I think it would be interesting to have gates be captured by siege towers and letting infantry to enter the gates as an alternative of ramming the gates.
Speaking of gates, I think it is weird that siege towers can pass through the gates, considering its height. Perhaps we can limit passable units based on footprint height as well?
Recently I watched a historical video which says that the pop-culture siege towers (which are used to capture walls) are rather wrong. In reality, the siege towers where used to shoot at the defenders (and to destroy gates / walls / buildings)

- There is a lot of interaction possible in the early game. Right from the start you can run over the map to the opponent and interact with him
- if the beginning is too slow for you, maybe play with higher starting resources?
- booming is not turtling. There is a clear difference between a women-from-houses-boom and turtling with lots of towers, walls and fortresses... believe me
- cavalry can actually make the eco stronger
- cavarly can be very durable
- cavalry scouting is actually very important. That bad players tend to not doing it doesnt mean that its not a thing. On scout missions, the cavalry can also harass the opponent
- if you think that rushes consist only of cavalry, then you dont have enough experience in the game. Infantry rushes are clearly a thing

I think that this is bad. Are there already plans to solve the issue?
Possibly it's not possible anymore to play rated games, even though these games are shown as rated. The Ratings bot is offline. -
Nobody suggested that all citizens lose their armor. The idea was that units which have 1 armor get that reduced to 0. But this can have a big impact on the game for no signifcant reason, so it should not be done.
At the other hand, you could just lower all armors in the game by 1 and decrease all damages by 10%. But is it worth the effort? No. -

It does makes sense. Champs have better gear. So they have more armor.

Skirmishers deal a lot of damage per second, so it's no surprise that they are more deadly against elephants than spear cav
Spear cav is not too bad, especially if it levels up
If someone quits a rated game without resigning, it should be counted as loss. We need a technical solution for this, by the help of a timer for example.- 2

It can go like:
barter 500 stone for 550 metal
barter 500 metal for 550 stone
and so forth. This is really glitchy. I suggest to lower the bonus to 15% and see if its still possible to exploit it.- 1

The Macedonian team bonus is OP: It allows to gain resources by bartering. So you can create resources just by clicks, if you have some resources already and a market.
Please lower the 20% to a percentage where it's not possible anymore. 15% maybe?

I don't see any reason to change siege towers. They are not too OP, there are many matches where I massed and teched them up, but I lost them nevertheless - because of cavalry, rams, elephants or even melee infantry.
Currently they are a important counters to archers and especially elephant archers - when I looked into the current development version, elephant archers had like no nerf? Can that be?
