It is fantastic how what seems to be half of the community of this forum, including @Nescio and several others, are really interested in just starting quarrels just for the sake of it. It is as if you do not want help, at all! I am now going to record Greek for the other thread, but I am going to force the other ones to do the same. I want to expose the incompetence of these so-called experts, once and for all. I am tired of presenting polite arguments that are not met with serious responses, and I invite the admins of this forum to follow this closely. Skill will stand, and ignorance will embarass itself and hopefully lead to the end of these preposterous episodes. I am met with stubborn people who would like to be right, and not any rational arguments or proofs of correctness. No more, gentlemen!

you are a great artist of Hellenistic culture, with a knowledge that goes beyond the limits. and as I read in your cover letter you come from a prestigious art university.

I conclude by speculating that you were taught the basics.
take a pencil and paper and at least doodle.

In terms of territory, both of those maps depict the Aksumite empire at it's height during the 6th century AD. The Kingdom of Saba is not known to have ever exerted political influence in East Africa.

The Biblical Kingdom of Sheba is tentatively identified with the Kingdom of Saba, but Ethiopia has a much stronger national narrative claiming to be the seat of the ancient kingdom, and currently possessing the Ark of the Covenant, housed in Axum. Personally, I think the history is too obscured, intertwined and semi-mythical to try to draw absolute conclusions. I remember reading about Sabaean inscriptions from that altar in Ethiopia explicitly mentioning the "red Sabaeans" and the "black Hebrews" essentially living in the same place. The black Hebrews here refers to the Ethiopian Jews (Beta Israel/Falasha), who are thought to have established themselves in Ethiopia around this time. It's all a bit fuzzy..

    So how look like them?

    I did play first one.

    I dont remember 2nd.

Last two unknown.  (could be lack of advertisment as each year i am checking strategy games which are coming out. )

I played the "normal ones": age of empires, stronghold, settlers, warcraft 1, 2,3 etc.  Sparta (or something like that) starcraft a little bit but not big fun about it. Anyway, I hate Ancestors Legacy for having so beautiful graphic but destroying game and all fun with battallions.

Simply we all have different taste in games. Currently from A21 ( from start till now 0ad never been using battallions). Instead of them, we have formations. Feel free to use them, so I don't understand whats your issue  here.

With the first two I don't agree. I can do that as well, it was few of us who was doing that on the start. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

Could someone explain me whats 42?

Noone sees issue with luring. ech

you don't destroy the fun if both things can coexist like Rise and Fall.

    Spoiler

Understood asterix but I've been a way only a few months and see so much progress. You guys are always close to it so it seems slow but a year and a half is fast in this field. AoE definitive edition has been three years and it wont run on most people computers. They're supposed to be the professionals.

that happening because UWP. then bad release date, so then they try to done with several glitches. then try to fix but was worse.

If that would be another total war game style, I would uinstall. :| Reducing my abillity to raid, fight in smaller groups.

eh.... nope, total war isn't base building game.

Try Ancerstor Legacy, Praetorians, Battle for the Middle Earth and Rise and Fall : Civilizations at war.

    Greetings, 0 A.D. players!^_^

My family and I have enjoyed this game for many weeks now. However, we have two questions about gameplay:

    1) Is it possible to assign a unit to multiple control groups, e.g., to have a unit in Group 1 as well as Group 2?

    2) Is it possible to jump to the site of the most recent attack from another player, instead of just relying on flashing dots in the minimap to find where the attack happened?

I searched the forum for mention of these issues, but could not find any posts about them.  Any answer is appreciated!

yes, same as AoE ctrl 1...2...3.

    No. but I'm not sure.

    Salve !

I'm looking for a way to allow a civilization to build more buildings.  I play PR with a friend and we would like to limit ourselves to playing as a city builder. For example, I would like to be able to build the temple of zeus with the Romans, but without replacing an existing building.

    Thank you for your help!

You mean replaced temples for local or Indo-europeans deities.

These mechanics are very interesting in the total war 2 rome.

I guess also make syncretism between pagan gods.
