First, please don't double post, there is an "Edit" button if you want to add something
Second, right now you don't play games as the game is being developed. When the game is ready it will be fairly straight-forward and there will be a lot of information, so don't worry: you'll know how to play when you are able to play. Please take a look around our forums as there are a lot of interesting things to do, I can recommend that you take a look at our History Articles ( http://wildfiregames.com/0ad/page.php?c=41 ) to get a feeling for the time period.
Third, what do you mean by "log on"? Since you've posted new messages after that one I assume you don't mean how to log on to the site
Forth, please be patient Most posts get answered within 24 hours, but since we're a team of people from all over the world, and are doing this in our spare time, it might sometimes take a bit longer.
And finally: Welcome to 0 A.D.! There is a forum ( http://www.wildfiregames.com/forum/index.php?showforum=114 ) where you might introduce yourself, so we can have a chance to get to know you

I don't think there is anything that would stop a modder from making bigger ships. But for the official game I most definitely agree with the decision to keep the ships down a bit in size. ( It's kinda interesting: In some threads there are people who are worried about whether or not they'll be able to run the game on their computers and in others people are "complaining" that we don't make the game "heavy" enough. I understand the reasons behind both though, so I'm not complaining )
It's a representation of reality and not reality after all, so some level of artistic license I guess we can allow ourselves
And while I'm here I can't but admire the marvellous work done by the programmers and artists in general and Michael more specifically to make this picture a reality

Well, you'll know when the time has come. Right now you'll have to wait though.

A long way indeed

I'll have to agree, this is really funny, in some strange way

And you'll of course be able to make your own scenarios and campaigns, and then everything is possbible (Ok, perhaps not *everything*, but depending on time and effort spent most things should be possible )

Great to see another history article.
Always great to get a chance to learn more about this interesting period of time :-)

Though that does of course not mean that we don't want to have any fans at all at this point More that we don't have that much to give them/you just yet. (Though there are enough things on this site to keep anyone occupied for a long time, esp. the History articles :) )

The first time I learned about 0 A.D. was some years ago checking the Age of Kings Heaven's web site and hearing about the Rome at War mod, I don't remember exactly but I think I learned about 0 A.D. on the WFG web site. Then I didn't think about it much for some years, checking back every once in a while, until some weeks ago when I decided to see what had happened since my last visit to the site I was impressed with what I saw and decided that I would like to help and checked the Job Openings on the main page. Finding a job I thought would be interesting I applied and here I am

You scored as Augustus.
You are Augustus! First emperor of the Romans and one of the greatest statesmen in the ancient world. You brilliantly eased the old Republic into the Principate and set the path for an empire that would last for centuries and form the underpinnings for all western civilization. Hail Caesar!
