  1. About the tribute wagon (if this is still open for discussion), I was thinking if it wouldn't be easier to just work via the already existing trading routes. The player clicks to send the tributes (as is done now), but instead of the resources being immediately transfered to the ally, they go with the next traders that leave your market (the trader unit we already have today). Then when they reach the ally's market, instead of giving you profit, they transfer the tribute. If the wagon is lost a message could be displayed like "tribute lost". This way I think the dynamics of tribute will be as easy as they are now, without increasing micro-management, but introducing a requirement that there is an existing trade route, and subject to sabotaging by enemies (by destroying the wagon). It is interesting also that this would encourage some shorter trade routes, as opposed to longer trading routes for bigger profit, so the players would have incentives to have both.

  2. What about instead of building in any territory (neutral, own, enemy), nomad villages were centered on Yurts/tents. These could be cheap structures which give small territory (slightly smaller than Military Colony), housing capacity and also work as drop sites, but decay with time. So, instead of packing/unpacking the players would have to rebuild them with time.

    How about having an option in the game to list unsigned mods as well?

    Could give a big warning in all caps with blinking shinning letters (like "ARE YOU SURE?! DO IT ON YOUR OWN RISK! ONLY INSTALL MODS FROM TRUSTED PROVIDERS"), but at least would be nice to have the option. If the game gets really popular it will be impractical to test and sign all mods...

    First of all, I would like to thank the 0 A.D. team for this great game! I love it!

    I have a very small suggestion that could be nice for the multiplayer game lobby. Since some times of the day (morning in Europe, for example) there are not many players online, it can take more than 10 minutes for someone to join your game. I like to open a room and then leave it there until somebody joins - meanwhile I can do other things. It would be of great help if it makes some sound when someone joins the room.

    Second, I have a question: is there any place where we can see some stats about the playerbase? In the game lobby we can see the top 100 players, is there a place where we can see the complete ranking, maybe with time of last login? How many active players are there currently?

    I love this game, but unfortunately I'm having problems with multiplayer. I know this is a common issue: nobody can join games I host. But my problem is that I am behind 2 routers: one general router for the building, which I have no access to, and my own router. I configured port forwarding in my router, but as it turns out, it doesn't work if the external router is not configured too. Is is still possible to host a game under these conditions? Any ideas?
