  1. Guys, I need some help. When I used SUSE Linux they had a "network places" Icon on the desktop. Then I went Mandrake and now I cannot take files back and forth between my windows system and Linux system. I go to the run command prompt and type: "smb4k" Which brings up the network I am able to see the network, yet all I can do is "Mount" the files I don’t know how to copy a file from my windows computer to the Linux one.... Any help is appreciated.

    Thank you.

  2. I am currently using Mandrake. I have tried SUSE before. I liked it but, Like others have said it *looks like* windows but of coarse is not as easy. B)

I am still learning how to use linux, I think it will take alot of time.

I really like windows, but I am just trying to learn about Linux. It’s a lot better to say:

Yes, I have used Linux before and I know a little bit about it.

    Rather than:

No, I have never used Linux before and I know NOTHING about it or how to use it.

    Am I right?

  3. The touch pad works just like the ipod but it’s just not a circle. For example the higher you Slide your finger the faster upwards it goes on the list of songs, and does the same for scrolling down. The sound quality is pretty good. The menus are very easy to use; one cool thing is that you design how you want the play lists to be formatted. (i.e. Artist, song title, album, etc.)

  4. I just got the new Creative Zen touch as an early Christmas present. Some of you might be asking, "Prophet what the heck is a Creative Zen Touch??" Well I am about to tell you, It’s an MP3 player. Basically like an ipod, but with a much better battery life. (24 Hours!!) Check this out! It’s really cool. If you have any questions about it because you plan on buying one, but you are not sure yet here is the place.

    Here are the specs:

    The Creative Website

I got the 20 GB one. So far it is really cool. I have already tried out the Apple ipod, but I choose this because it had some better features. If you have a big music collection and really like listening to music I am sure you will like this. My dad said he got it for $250 USD. Kind of expensive, but still less expensive than any of the Apple stuff, because everyone knows that Apple is over priced!! ;)

    My Zen

BTW the ipod has a 12 hour battery life, (When fully charged) You may what to look at each of the specs and compare.

    I love music.

    Rock on Dudes!! :P

  6. I wish I could sleep in at least one of my classes, but I cant. When it comes to something like doing things on my own time that I actually enjoy no, sleep has nothing on me… I could be up for 2 days straight!! (An example would be working on computers, usually I will stay up as long as needed to get the job done.) Heh
