in light of the '300' movie i thought it would be cool if i could make a cool new sig

i think the battle scenes are cool

im a member of TotalWar.net, an unofficial Total War site. just recently there was a post about 0.AD.
go check it out and post on it if you can, they've said some good things and its good to know that this game is getting the recognition it deserves!

You hate ATG's bronze spartan skin??!!!
they're only on that mod because they're the best around,but if you want to change the bronze spartan just dwnload another of ATG's spartans and follow the readme

Here is the download link to XGM, the game features new factions, new units, some correct animations that enable elite hoplites to fight in the overhand style, some great new textures, a map that stretches all the way to India, and the list goes ever on....
i suggest reading the readme before you do anything, it tells you all the things that are included in the mod...ENJOY!!!

By the way, i would really recommend the XGM (Extended Greek Mod), great map, units etc

yeah, greece is a heavily mountainous area, but its good to know that you can trap your enemies in a certian place while you can train more troops and build some defences

It's a nice shield. The left horseman seems a bit too washed out, but that's probably from where you sourced the design from.
i made it lighter to match the bright side of the shield. here is the darker one then...

i remember a series about the Spartans on the Discovery Civilisations channel, it was very good, but it only showed once :sad:
