I'm trying to organize some of my university notes, and I want to create a manual like, and I need two features: hyperlinks inside the documents, and mousover text. What I can use? (easy program)

some wiki environment, like mediawiki or, more simple, dokuwiki. But you need a webserver (apache + php, and for mediawiki, also mysql): it could run locally, using Xampp or similar platforms.

Otherwise, a very simple software: Zim http://www.zim-wiki.org/

  2. same problem here. Crash on start:

Much to our regret we must report the program has encountered an error. Please let us know at http://trac.wildfiregames.com/ and attach the crashlog.txt and crashlog.dmp files.Details: unhandled exception (Access violation reading 0x00000000)Location: unknown:0 (?)Call stack:(error while dumping stack: No stack frames found)errno = 0 (No error reported here)OS error = 0 (no error code was set)

with -nosound the game starts correctly

    crashlog.dmp

    crashlog.txt

    mainlog.html

    system_info.txt

  3. well... sincerely i don't think they are much important. A newcomer is not interested when a certain feature was implemented, but he wants to know if it's implemented. On the other hand, one who already know 0 A.D. probably use this site to grab those informations.

But, for the sake of completeness, i'll translate the features column as soon as possible :)

  4. The changes looks good to me, eventually more content can be ported from the English page when it's stabilized :).

    ok ;)

Don't know if you guys noticed, but there are no version characteristics yet.

Off topic: I find italian easier to understand than french, at least the sounds are similar to portuguese, and those that aren't i recognize the root of the word...

Do you mean the column "Features" in Version history ("Caratteristiche" in italian page)?

  5. Well , I think that, before start thinking in ways to improve pathfinding gameplay (roads and stuff), we should solve our current pathfinding problems. That is a huge problem if we can't have a descent fog of war without pathfinding mayhem.

I wish i could help but i have NO IDEA how to solve those problems nor i have any suggestions for it; so the only thing i can do is to wish the best for the programers involved.

look to these threads, you will find some useful inputs :)
