  1. Hello everyone since there seems to be no topic for this yet, i wondered if implementing / using GNUnet for decentralization was ever considered for pyrogenesis. Maybe as additional connection method. If not so: what do you think about it? Does it make sense? i always like to empower decentralized concepts by using them.

  2. Did try selecting units and then garrisoning them via the icon? (That's how I always do it, don't know about hotkeys etc.)

  4. If it is based on reality, we only need to weaken the damage of javelins. A lot of people don't support this change because there are a lot of factions in the game that don't have bows, and they worry that nerfing the javelin will turn those factions into garbage. But I would say that we should weaken the role of range units as a whole, and put more emphasis on melee combat, especially the impact of various formations on melee combat, rather than treating them as decorations.

  5. I stumbled across this game one day and decided to give it a go. So far so good, just a few notes. 1. I'm getting Age of Mythology vibes from playing the Greek civilizations 2. How do I disable/close players in skirmish mode? 3. You should rename this game Ascendant Empires and take it all the way into the present and future, like a spiritual successor to Empire Earth.

  7. https://historum.com/t/han-dynasty-crossbow-iii.179336/ "What may surprise many readers is how a reduced 285 lb Han crossbow shoot at the same level of power as a Medieval 1200 lb composite crossbow? And how could a 150 lb longbow shoot at the same level of power as a Medieval 1200 lb steel crossbow? This can be explained by powerstroke." Seems they had "short" reload time and dealt much more "impact". Can agree with everything else stated.

  8. Nah, every shyft account is identical. He logs on with some offensive name and within minutes, he says "donkey". He is too simple to maintain two personas.

  9. Shyft boomed and fought usually 2 minutes before yekaterina accounts do. I know you are a good enough player to easily beat both of them, but I am not so I think its easier for me to see the differences. If yekaterina was able to change seamlessly from behaving like shyft to normal, I think it would be a multiple personality disorder situation.

  10. "yekaterina" might have a ton of smurf accounts, but there is still a huge gap in playstyle and more importantly behavior between them and shyft.

  12. Unless someone is a true believer in a concept, it's difficult to put in the effort to make a mod for it. Not that making mods is difficult, but the motivation isn't there. You're better off taking some time learning how to mod, then make a mod to show off your concept.

  13. The game plays differently to starcraft and C and C in a variety of ways. One of these is that land can't be shared by allies.

  14. Borders have weights, so the stronger the adversary, the more it gains on your territory, which I think makes sense.

  15. It doesn't seem to be a very good solution. Did one of the developers encrypt their name in the holes?
