  1. We need some Papyrus flora eye candy for maps like this and other Nile maps. Maybe could make it gatherable and passable at the same time? Just a suggestion.

  3. The left one almost looks like a 3D printed version of a low res image of the right one :-P

  4. Their historicity so far seems pretty terrible (for example see byzantine namings being purely greek and largely taken from ancient units). I can accept the graffics and see elements of EA gameplay as rather interesting though (like the way they deal with mongol packable structures).

  6. Tal vez él no hizo los 3 comandos en orden (con sudo) First you have to add the backports to your system with the source.lists: sudo deb http://http.debian.net/debian jessie-backports main Then reload the repository cache with : sudo apt-get update Finally install the last alpha from official repositories using: sudo apt-get install -t jessie-backports 0ad

  7. I didn't know! matei again, he brought us the first random map code too as far as I could trace it. https://trac.wildfiregames.com/changeset/3865 https://trac.wildfiregames.com/changeset/3866

  8. meshmap 0 should be your UVMap for base texture, specular texture, and normal textures. meshmap 1 should be for AO. I'm pretty sure you have the wrong texture, try the Celtic textures in the structural skins folder, you'll likely have better luck there

  9. @wowgetoffyourcellphone So I finally watched Black Panther... I enjoyed it though it's not really my genre... Totally worth the watch! "Don't scare me like that, colonizer!"... I died... I saw dem Azande shields! The pattern is almost the same as one of our own, lol! Of course, as an Africanist, I have my pet peeves. As a huge mashup of everything African, from North, South, East to West, they still managed to underrepresent African art and culture... lol. For example in the museum: The "Edo Mask" from Nigeria looks absolutely hideous compared to the real Edo Mask it was modeled after: There is no such thing as the "Bobo Ashanti tribe" from Ghana. "Bobo Ashanti" is an order, or mansion in the Rastafarian movement. The Ghanaian tribe is simply known as "Ashanti" or "Asante". They're not known for their mask-making either, but of course there are exceptions, and the golden mask of the Asantehene (King/Emperor of Ashanti) Kofi Karikari is the most well known metal mask from Ashanti. Note the striking difference between the rather hideous Ashanti metal mask in Black Panther: Many more examples like that, but what can you expect from Hollywood Anyway, good movie!

  10. Since it's mostly Ptolemaic Egypt here, how about the Greek term for Egypt: Aegyptos, or the Latin Aegyptus It kind of has that historically romantic flavour, and is still recognisable enough for all..

  11. Actually battles are determined by how many skirmishers you have got. Any archer has same stats for any civ. Mauryan and persian have archery tradition which increases their attack range at cost of their health which isn't really a good choice unless you have a solid shield of melee units. On the other hand, other civs have mercenary archers who train at rank 2.

  12. The problem is ... you lost the perspective playing without shadows and that is weird and bad. even AoEO haven't this problem. Is physiologic basic perception.
