Choosing the right type at attachments for your vacuum cleaner

Nowadays, machines are gradually doing people’s daily tasks, including their influence in cleaning work. Vacuum machines used to be only used for large spaces like cleaning on the street, companies, hotels or amusement parks but not anymore. Currently, vacuum machines for households are not too foreign. But for those who are trying to figure out how to use the vacuum cleaner, especially with xPDvpct.gifBest Vacuum Cleaner brands which come with a lot of attachments, it might be a little tricky. Let’s get to know some of the common ones.

The core four include Crevice tool, dusting brush, upholstery tool and extension wand are the most common vacuum accessories, most vacuum cleaners come with these, which handle almost all the chores.

Crevice tool

The crevice tools have an angled tip on the end of a long piece which is perfect to grav debris from tight spaces like in between sofa cushions, baseboard edges or under the front of the oven and other appliances. They can also suction out smaller spots like the dirt from a window track, cobwebs from corners and debris lodged in tufted upholstery.

Dusting brush

Dusting tools are perfect for, well, dusting. They have long bristles surrounding the opening of the tools, the diameter is dependent on the brand but they all provide gentle abrasion to suck up the dust particles from surfaces like hardwood floors without any scratching. Another use for dusting brush is for dust air vents and refrigerator coils, chair and table legs or small decorative pieces like clocks and bookends.

Upholstery tool

The upholstery tools are like lint brushes, but with suction. They have a band of suction over upholstery fiber with you to draw out lint. You may need to slip the attachment while the vacuum is running to remove debris caught in the strips. Anyhow, it’s perfect to give mattresses and carpeted stairs a deep clean with this tool to pick up dust and hair.

Extension wand

Long sturdy plastic tube which can help you reach high places like ceiling, light, air vents and door frames. It allows you to keep your arms close to your body, preventing strain and fatigue. Although you do not want to use your vacuum machine to pick up any hard objects or coins because you don’t want them to get stuck in your machine, extension wands may be the answer to that trouble. With a small diameter tube and you may need to stretch a piece of nylon panty hose over the opening, they’re not afraid to be used to pick up coins between the couch cushions.

With best vacuum cleaner brands WpdGIxQ.gif, they may come with add-on attachments for you to choose. The following are some common attachments to give you general ideas.

Car-cleaning nozzle: Especially for car mats or even carpeted. It grabs every last bit of sand or animal crackers.
