Generic ones shouldn’t be, art wise. Implementing this would be the real issue

Yeah, I was never quite happy with them :unsure:

There's that and ship trails, and a few related effects that we should have, but I think it needs a rethinking of how we handle the water a bit.

@Enrique By the by, while you're around, did you still have those olive trees from a while back? The old one is looking rougher by the day...

Prickly juniper, or cade trees and ground brush

3 new grasses with graded transparency on the bottom so they'll blend with any terrain without a seam

Aww man, I searched a lot and I didn't find anything. Although I remember working on some convoluted trunks for the olives :(

 

BTW I love this approach you used:

It is very clever polygon placement and helps a lot for the semi-top/down camera.

Are the grass polygons smoothed? That's one of the main issues with the current grass models.

Wilder, bluer mediterranean cypresses that mix well with Enrique's, and adds a bit more variety to Mediterranean forests. I'd like to add some even crazier windswept versions to top mountaintops and seaside cliffs with

Shadows are set from transparent textures, not the polygons, the shadows fade too
