Would it be possible to give cavalry a (short) loop rein? Minor details such as this make the game more enjoyable, at least for some people. Closed reins are well attested throughout Eurasia (even for horse archers):

@Alexandermb actually did this for the camels and it looks great! I second this idea :)

I hope the Seleucid elite horse archer can be redone too. That shield behind doesn’t look good IMO. The head is quite big too. The second rank looks really nice that I always hesitate to get it promoted. The same horse archer that Wow’s Gaia in his map on DE.

So, uh, the trots look good man.

Yeah it's on my list, having an updated zip with premodifiied variants and actors I could just apply on svn would make it faster to get into public, because i guess you modified it somewhat for DE ?

No, I've just been playing the game with @Alexandermb's "horse trot" mod enabled. If you need me to integrate it for you, I can do that soonish.

Hmm, the helmet prop point apparently has moved in relation to the head prop point for the rider animations, when compared to infantry.

will copy the same position of the infantry and disable transformation for keep the same helmet's, however its possible that i could end exporting all animations again to make an standard look between armored/saddle/blanket horse to another whitout all those props, also maybe include the chairs (if the unit uses i) since now i could render the texture.

Yeah, it's most notable with the Kushite skull cap, since it is so close to the head. Which is why @stanislas69 had to make a custom one for the champ cav. But the effect still affects other helmets too of course.

Have a look at the carry_idle anims for cavalry @Alexandermb while you are at it.
I will soon push my biggest patch ever to the repo.

ok, if its only carry_meat_idle it will be fast to do.

This horse colours don't look bad, they look gorgeous from a gameplay view, and i guess i could get plain horse colours using blender nodes if its desired so i will try this after the re-animate process is finished and look to expand the fauna cavalry and maybe others could have variants of plain horses and make proper leather/metal etc.
