As far as I am aware, there are no prepackaged installers for Linux versions. If you install 0 A.D. from Ubuntu's package manager, you will get the 0 A.D. release that was current at that time. If you are using 16.04, I would guess that you would probably get Alpha 19, but you would have to check it to make sure. If you really want to get a certain version of 0 A.D. on a current version of Ubuntu, then you will need to checkout source code at the desired revision and compile the code. If you have not done this before, then it will probably take a bit of research.

Here are the instructions for how to build 0 A.D.: http://trac.wildfiregames.com/wiki/BuildInstructions

It will default to the latest changes when you first get the code, so you will have to manually change your revision to Alpha 18. I don't know which revision that is, but someone here can find that out for you if you succeed in getting the code checked out.

As a side note, Moddb provides links to older versions of 0 A.D. for Windows and Mac here: http://www.moddb.com/games/0-ad/downloads/

Or one can download the relevant unix-build and unix-data files from here: http://releases.wildfiregames.com/ They are named after the release they are related to. You would still have to follow the build instructions linked to above, but at least this way you won't have to search for the exact version. (Or learn how to use SVN for that matter ;) )
