HopScotch Posted January 7, 2016 Report Share Posted January 7, 2016 (edited) I am running 0 a.d. on Fedora. I had version 18 running just fine on Fedora 20. Then I updated my Fedora to 23, updated 0 a.d. to 19. When I open 0 a.d. I see in the bottom left that I have version 19 Syllypsis, and that the build is November 28th 2015. However, when I click multiplayer-->Game- Lobby--> Login, I am taken to the lobby for version 18. In the top right it says "Version 18. Alpha 19 has been released, check play0ad.com for download information."I've tried uninstalling it and re-installing it with the commands "dnf remove 0ad" followed by "dnf install 0ad" When I remove 0ad it says I've only removed 11 megabytes. And when I install 0ad it says I've only installed 11 megabytes. So It doesn't seem like I can fully remove the game in order to get a fresh install.How can I get the game to put me into the correct lobby? leper Posted January 7, 2016 Report Share Posted January 7, 2016 Did you copy the default.cfg file to create a local.cfg file earlier? If yes, delete that file (local.cfg that is). HopScotch Posted January 8, 2016 Author Report Share Posted January 8, 2016 (edited) Indeed I had created a local.cfg file.I just now I tried deleting local.cfg.The problem still persists.Where can I find user.cfg? leper Posted January 8, 2016 Report Share Posted January 8, 2016 One of default.cfg, local.cfg or user.cfg (note that they could be present in multiple directories) has to define the old lobby parameters, so I'd check which one does.
