All you need to make it look better. However I don't think you'll need much more geometry than it already has, it just need a better shape. Check boars references and you'll see.

Okay I need help then.

I did this texture starting from the one below (original from the game), and fixed the eyes by folowing two tutorials and mixing techniques. I also followed a tutorial on fur, which didn't work for me. I also used the wolf texture for the tongue.

That´s why I always try to make them from scratch. I failed to apply the upper tutorial though. But the eye is quite nice :) do you think google labeled for reuse and modification ´ s search option is safe ?

No.

I search in wikimedia commons, open the image page and scroll down to see its license. Here are some good ones you can use:

I love 0AD's flora and fauna. Thanks for getting us a step closer to new epic wildlife.

May I create a content.object mod on 0ADMods for your boar. Or should it even be a Animal collection?

Oh you want a gif... Well I can ´t give you that where I am. But you can still download the blend file and make one. All the anims are in.

Texture is good, but animations need more work except Idle02. Attack is okay, but could have some tweaks.

The walk and run don't loop correctly and the animations make "jumps" when looped.

The death animation the boar starts its position lower than the ground.

The texture could have been of only half boar, so you could have had twice the texture space, but it could work like it is. Maximize always your texture space, specially if the object is symmetric. I'll try to not lose too much details shrinking the texture.

And a question, did you changed something in the armature? or you used the current one?
