The new World, Australia and oceanian cultures. Or all wants American Natives :) are very cool.

In Aristeia we recopilate others works based in a single civilizations and merge whole in a same project.

That why I'm interested inn kimball and mesoamericans projects even in mythological bring lots of players.

Veridagorin and our Council will join efforts.

There are no requirements. The Council is for modularity's and productiveness sake. If we help together and share our work, we all have a far farther reach than as sole mercenary.

The Council welcomes Councillor Veridagorin. We have no restrictions in our Council. Feel free to pursue any kind of mod you wish. Me myself is planning for a magic middleearth mod too. This will be in the far future for now, so in the meantime I lend a hand at all our mods - be it fantasy or history.

Our modularity and lack of hierarchy will strengthen our cohesion and could lead us to distant horizons.

A fellow Skyrim lover :D

I kept wondering if we need a section for fan art and writings too. I also used to write a lot of Skyrim stuff ;)

We'll include you in the Council's programmers group.

So the Council hereby officially recognizes MuteLovestone

'Ello friends! I'm Tanksy, I posted over here:

http://aok.heavengames.com/cgi-bin/forums/display.cgi?action=st&fn=22&tn=41161&st=1#post2

And was told to come by and say hello! And here I am, saying hello :)

Please have a read of that post ^^^ and see what I can do for you.

Really looking forward to hopefully being able to join you guys. I've been a fan of your work since playing RaW, and have always kept an eye open for 0 AD - the opportunity to work alongside the kind of people who inspired me to create is one I wouldn't want to miss for the world. I've done many maps, mods and other such things. I wish I had a portfolio site where I could show off my creations - but that will come in time, I guess.

Anyway, yes. Hi!

Well as I stated in my post on AoKH, I'm passionate about mapping, coding, modding. Basically, things that don't need me to do art. I'm not very good with art :P (Unless you count scenarios as an artform, then I'm an artist, yes. ;) )

I find things can be easy to learn with the right enthusiasm and I am very enthusiastic about this.

Hello there!

I'm Merfy, and I too saw your post on AoKH. I'm inexperienced for now, but interested in joining the team. I intend to become some sort of cinematic animator and general all rounder in games design and am interested in whatever you can offer me. I can, despite my inexperience, learn quickly (a valuable gift indeed).

Here's the original on AoKH:

Hello Wildfire!

I'm MerfAvenger (more commonly Merfy), another part of the budding development team Tanksy mentioned. As of yet I have no specialist skillset, however I pick up skills quickly and am interested in all aspects of game development. My communication skills are noteworthy, and I feel they would be helpful at some stage of development. Although I have little experience in actual game development at the moment I do intend to pursue it as a career, with the desire to study Games Design at Abertay University, Dundee.

Whilst I want to aim my career in the direction of cinematics and animation, I am also imaginative and enjoy creating storylines and ideas - with researching them being part of the thrill of creating a setting and universe. Thus I feel I would be of help to your team as a member of your research staff. History has always interested me and I would put in vast amounts of effort into finding every intricate detail on any subject.

Thank you for reading, any more information will happily be disclosed if you let me know!

Merfy

Thanks guys.

Merfy out.

Welcome to the Council. AoK folks are always welcome, we generally do share a lot in common.

In regards to no defined skill set, you may submit a request to become an apprentice, where we will teach you a skill.

There's many to choose from.

All requests are to be submitted to Stan (Artist, and trainer of COM) @

http://www.wildfiregames.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=18514#entry289136

Our forum signatures are due, and are a requirement to keep general order on the forum. An official COM signature will be presented to you on request.

Regards

Romulus

We get CoM signatures? All of us? Apprentice or not?

Yes, everyone is meant to get one. And being an apprentice, you are still a councilor.

Thank you trip.

When you say become an apprentice, are the available fields to become an apprentice in the subsets of Art listed in that topic (for example, Modelling or animation) or are they the entire topic listed there?

What am I to do to request the COM signature?

Merfy

That is right. However, that thread is art specific, dealing with those subsets. Should you opt for a different field and a sig, just submit what you'd like to take on, and Stan will take care of the rest, and issue your signatures.

Thank you very much Romulus*. Will set about choosing an apprenticeship now.

Also, how do I get in contact with him? I don't have access to the pm's part yet. Will get my post count up.

Edit: Removed my stupidity at calling you your title, not your name.

Can I get a little help with this? I'm not sure if I want to go for the whole Scenario Design sig or Programming sig. I know how to program in Java and C# but it's not an impressive amount, I'd still need to learn more - and I'd rather not take up anyone's time by asking for training or apprenticeships or whatever. I'm alright with scenario design but I kinda wanna help out where I can and do both design and programming. Is that a possibility?

Well let me introduce what I do.. I'm an average modeler, and a poor texturer. I also know a bit of C, C#, lua, and Website JS.

You wanted to know if you should have a programmer sign or a mapper sign. Well I guess programmer is more appropriate since you will code when mapping :)
