Hi Team,

I am stuck at the installation phase of Hakhamanish.

The NSIS_Error is what I get.

Installer integrity issue.

Are anyone else facing this issue.

The following is my PC configuration :

Processor: AMD Sempron™ Processor 2800+, MMX, 3DNow, ~1.6GHz

Memory: 2046MB RAM

Page File: 774MB used, 3165MB available

Windows Dir: C:\WINDOWS

DirectX Version: DirectX 9.0c (4.09.0000.0904)

Card name: NVIDIA GeForce 6200

Manufacturer: NVIDIA

Chip type: GeForce 6200

I am stuck and I love this game very much. The SAVE option was something which I had been waiting for and here I am stuck.

Anyone, has any tips?

I tried to install with the NSIS filter in CLI mode, but in vain... :(

Hmm, just to rule out the obvious one, are you sure the file is properly downloaded? That's what I'd try first, to redownload and see if that fixes anything. If that doesn't help we'll have to wait for the programmers to offer more in-depth solutions :)

Hi Feneur,

I tried that thrice and that too with the normal firefox downloader and also with wxdownload accelerator.

The third time was yesterday and after a gap of 1-2 months (sorry I don't remember the time exactly ;) ).

But it's not helping....

I bet you are using windows XP? More information about your OS would be good too, just a tip.

Hi Pedro,

It always uses temporary path as c drive and it gets filled up to the maximum.

I gave the path to F drive.

Is there anything else that you require from my OS details?

Your C: drive is very small and only has 1GB free space, I suspect you will run into all kinds of weird problems. 10GB is hardly enough for Windows XP, and certainly not enough for later versions. You should fix that and also, sometimes files downloaded on Windows get "cached", so if you try to redownload the file it will use the cached version and skip the download. This obviously causes a problem if the download was corrupted. Did it take the normal amount of time to redownload the installer or was it much faster?

Well, strategist, i'm not the perfect person to solve this kind of problems, i'm just trying to help those who can by telling you to provide them more useful info.

Anyways, i meant information about the version of your windows, is it XP, Vista, Seven? What SP (Service Pack) it is?

By the way, not wanting to intrude in your life, but is it really necessary so many partitions of your hard drives? Partitions don't usually harm your hard disks, but the higher the percentage of use of a partition, the more "nightmares" you'll have, if you catch my meaning, and as you have at least 2 hard disks, from what i could deduct, letting them with no partitions would be better.

And, of course, don't ever try to manipulate your partitions (if you are going to) before making backups of your documents, you can lose some, if not all of them.

And NCIS???? I understood nothing.... I am still learning to keepup with the present youth ;)

NCIS is a policial tv series like CSI, i watch it around here through the channel A&E.

  • 4 weeks later...

I made a torrent: https://thepiratebay...__amp_iexcl_%5D

You can use that to check for download errors much more efficiently.

Hi Sonar,

Sorry for a late reply.

I was a little busy jenceforth could not check ur torrent upload b4.

Seems like it's not seeded any more.

Can you upload it into some other location so I can try it out anytime. :)

Thanks for your support again !!!!

Yeah, to me it looks like hes trying to run raid on a single drive, which would be outrageous. You will have all sorts and kinds of problems trying to install the game using raid like this.

Hi Kazu,

I really appreciate your concern.

But the whole stuff of raid is not something that I had done.

It's just because of the primary and secondary cable wiring to the harddisks.

I need to adjust them but never botered to do so for quite sometime.

I could run all the previous versions of the 0 AD with the same setup.

Not sure, what could be the exact reason.

Does the installer check all these things ? That should be something unnecessary then ... hmmm...

I need to wait for sonarpulse's reply for downloading from another location....

Thanks to all of you, anyways!!!! :)

Hi Team,

I could solve this issue by using another browser - google chrome.

Not sure why firefox and wxdownload (plugin in firefox) caused this issue.

Anyways thanks to all members who responded to my question.

Just for our other friends, I am sending the NSIS link which helped me.

Good to hear it worked out. I would guess (though I could be completely wrong) that it is the download manager plugin that's to blame, sometimes they're really useful, sometimes they cause more problems than they solve (and some sites don't allow you to use them either).
