  1. wouldn't say it was necessary though. There could probably be a peace agreement in a few days

This would have been the ideal!

was already loosing, and the ministers in Japan knew it well, and few were as fanatic as the military itself.

Not too sure about that, but that might be b/c when we studied WW2 at school, our teacher was incredibly biased therefore I wouldn't be surprised if she mistakenly "skipped" certain info.

  2. I believe that Hiroshima was in part necessary (though it would have been better if it was thrown in an uninhabited place), but Nagasaki was not necessary at all. The first already showed the dsestructive force the US had. And its effect had already forced Japan to surrender. No need for a second one.

  3. I know, my country is REALLY small, and in most aspects is pretty similar to the US, except for little details as our crappy streets.

What I meant is that these small nations driven by greed and ambition will conquer land that used to belong to the big nations, therefore becoming larger, and wars will start again. :king:

  4. I definitly believe that both are extremly important, for my own philosofy whose motto is "keep growing". What this means is that you should improve yourself as much as you can, therefore you must take care and improve body and spirit. But I do think that the spirit is a little more important, because not only there is more room for improving, but each improvement is permanent, on the other hand, you work really hard to improve your body, but with the years this starts to deteriorate.
