  1. TV remotes, VCR/DVD remotes, sound system remotes, they all qualify I voted 2 (TV/VCR and DVD).. I use to have to juggle around a lot more until we got a 3-in-1 remote that controls TV and VCR at the same time..
  2. I'll be reading the next 2 Left Behind: The Kids books when they come out (by Tim LaHaye and Jerry Jenkins).. Actually I think they're out already, I just haven't got them yet I have a lot of programming books around; not reading any of them currently but I keep them handy for projects. And also, the Bible.
  3. I do I'm sure most of the other WFG staff are active too.
  4. Nope, they load nice and snappy for me. I am on a 2000kbps cable connection though :)
  5. I've won a MSN Beta Testing shirt for being on of the first testers to install the beta software (I participated in the MSN beta, still am actually). I love my shirt I've been paid for writing computer articles for directron.com, $150 to date, although I guess I didn't win that.
  6. Yep, Liero's great fun It was pretty advanced for it's time (IMO).
  7. I've played it a little, at first it didn't run well on my computer. Ah, I like America's Army better anyway
  8. Yeah, I was referring to: http://www.wildfiregames.com/0ad as phpBB-powered, not these forums
  9. Hooray! Congrats to Poya and Jan for finishing this
  10. Tim: I noticed that the new site (so far) is phpBB-powered.. does that mean it will be semi-integrated with the forums? Just curious, I love webdesign
  11. Which trailer are you talking about? I assume your talking about the great choir music that plays in the second half of the FOTR trailer, starting when the orc bursts through the door in Moria. :) I love that music!! You're right, it's been used in the T3 trailer.. I saw it on TV and couldn't believe my ears when I heard the LOTR music playing for T3
  12. Hey, that gives me an idea for a future "breakdown point": Editor. Why didn't I include that before?
  13. I'm very glad I'm a part of this community. As akya said, the moderators are keeping a great eye on anything and everything here.
  14. @Elf: I loved the March of the Ents music too. One of my favorite scores!
  15. BTW, you can view them all here -> http://www.lordoftherings.net/trailers/ My vote is the Fellowship trailer. I love the choir in the background.
  16. No, I don't believe AoE had that feature. At least I never saw it. I think there was a recent discussion about something like this for 0AD. It's possible it could end up in the game.
  17. @Murchad: Very good point. A good example is the AnandTech forums.. boy there's a lot of traffic there
  18. I didn't like WMP much before version 9 came out. They really did some good work on v9 to make it load faster and reduce memory usage. @Marcus: Yeah, I like the visualizations too. My favorites are the "Plenoptic" category.
  19. Thanks again for all the kind comments, everyone! I'm glad everyone likes these reviews, I really enjoy writing them.
  20. I'm not sure about that choice You sure it has to be public?
